Who would be your dream horse to ride?
My dream horse has always been Totilas. He was the first horse I saw when I started my career, and I have always believed him to be the picture of a war horse. I used to sneak my iPad into my room late at night when I was a child to watch his videos at the competitions on YouTube!
Something on your bucket list?
Something that is on my bucket list is to build my dream house in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.
If you were to board an aeroplane right now, where would you be heading?
If I were to get on a plane right now, I would book a trip to Greece
Coffee shop order?
My favourite coffee ever is an iced shaken espresso from Starbucks with extra vanilla cold foam.
Something people don’t know about you?
Something people don’t know about me is I love to create art, I’ve loved painting since I was very young.
Equestrian hero?
I think I would say my heroes are my two mentors, Jeremy Beale and Marco Bernal. Their stories are very inspiring to me, and it proves to me that I might have a shot of making it to where I want to go.
If you could have five people for dinner, who would they be?
I would have dinner with my dad who passed away when I was eighteen, my mentor Jeremy, my favourite human in the world who is in the army Zach, probably Marcus Aurelius, and George Washington. I think that would be a very interesting group to have a conversation with.
Favourite sweet treat?
My favourite is a bag of gummy bears, anyone around me knows that there are times where I will just show up with an entire bag of gummy bears and eat them all.
Most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession is my dog Freya, also known as Stinkerbug. She and I met at a very low point in my life when I was twenty-one. She is a wild coyote dog from Mexico I rescued. She is the best friend I’ve ever had.
