Who would be your dream horse to ride?
The horse I’ve always dreamed of riding is Valegro.

Favourite equestrian shop?
My favourite shop is Pinol, Madrid. I’m not sponsored, I really like it!

Favourite book?
Violeta by Isabel Allende.

Favourite music?
I love Tracy Chapman.

Coffee shop order?
I’m Italian, of course one-shot espresso - no sugar no cream no milk.

Equestrian hero?
It’s hard to choose just one, because there are so many riders I admire! I really like Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour for her elegance and precision in the arena. Isabel Werth is a true legend of dressage, an inspiration for anyone in the sport. I also admire Charlotte Fry for the way she understands and interprets the horses she rides.

If you could have five people for dinner, who would they be?
I’d probably invite my closest friends, the ones I hardly ever get to see because we live far apart. Then we’d go out to a restaurant, because they all know I’m not much of a cook which is a bit embarrassing for an Italian!

Another equestrian discipline that you would like to try?
I’ve practically tried them all, even a racehorse! The only thing left on my list is hobby horsing, so I’d love to give that a try.

If you were to board an aeroplane right now, where would you be headed?
Patagonia.

Favourite food?
Focaccia. (It’s a type of flatbread typical of the Liguria region in Italy).
