Who would be your dream horse to ride?
My dream horse to ride isn't alive anymore so I missed my chance, but when I was littlle I was completely in love with Anky van Grunsven's Bonfire. That horse was simply amazing!
Favourite colour horse?
I love a chestnut horse, specifically a liver chestnut.
Favourite way to relax?
The thing I'm digging right now is I'm enjoying listening to true crime podcasts at night. I'm fascinated with this stuff.
Cinema or Movie Night at Home?
I definitely prefer watching movies at home, if I have to go to the bathroom during the movie I can just pause it. You definitely can't do that in the cinema.
Product that you can't live without?
This isn't really a "horsey" product but if I don't have carrots or peppermints when I'm in the barn I'm going to be dealing with some very upset ponies.
Equestrian hero?
It probably comes as no surprise that my equestrian hero is Anky van Grunsven. When I was an able-bodied rider, my goal was to ride just like her and then to ride Bonfire.
If you could have five people for dinner, who would they be?
I'm going to show everyone just how weird I am. I have this fascination with serial killers; I want to understand what made them do what they did. Before I got sick, I wanted to work in a mental asylum for the criminally insane, but life happened. I'm still very curious about this so my five people would be Ted Bundy, Ed Gein, Jeffery Dahmer, H. H Holmes, and Sigmund Freud (to get a psychology perspective).
Something on your bucket list?
I've been racking my brain on this question, and I can't think of one. When I was in my early twenties I was going to college and had a future in mind but then life happened and I got sick and my future changed. What that taught me was to do things you want right now rather than wait for the right time.
Favourite holiday destination?
I absolutely hate being cold, I grew up in the Northwest and so I spent so many winters riding freezing my feet and hands off that I just don't do cold anymore. So anywhere I would go on holiday would have to be some place warm.
Favourite food?
I'm not a picky eater but I am a die-hard "cutetarian". What that means is that I will not eat anything that I deem cute. So, cows, pigs, sheep, deer etc are cute, but chicken, turkey, fish etc are not cute and so they are edible.
